Accounts not officially dealt with

DMC is helping me pay my standard bank accounts, including the Edgar's credit card, it's been two years now paying the accounts, but still get calls from attorneys saying my STD bank accounts has been handed to them. How possible this is? This is bad for my credit record as I now thought that I'm about to finish paying my debt.
