Not telling the truth

So we were trying to get a car insurance quote from Miway yesterday, what a disaster.
Firstly, the first lady I spoke to, said that this would be a QUICK quote. i got transferred to a consultant who took all my details, then i had to be transferred again to a senior consultant. Why can't just one person help me? Been on the phone for 20 minutes and then i still have to be on hold 3 times. But the worst of all was when the 3rd person told me that "by Law" he needs to do a credit check on me. It's not by Law. The more I asked him to explain to me exactly why the credit check needs to be done, the only words he could tell me was because its "by Law". What a lie??? And AFTER all that trouble, they couldn't even help us with the quote. Thank Goodness for some other insurance companies that could help us so much easier today! I will definitely tell people of the blatant that Miway consultants give you over the phone.
