Poor Service and unfair penalty

I recently had an incident with my vehicle and contacted Outsurance to submit a claim. During this period I also reviewed my policy and was pleasantly surprised to have my premium reduced, however this was short-lived as I received the annual increase letter. I was comfortable with the increase of 7% and 8% for vehicle and home respectively, however on my vehicle the increase was 25%. This was explained to me by several employees of the retentions department as due to the claim I submitted this year. I feel this is highly unfair as the reason I have insurance is to protect me should incidents happen and I should not be penalized should I need to use the facility. FYI, just on my vehicle increase, for the next year, the increase amount alone will more than cover the cost of the repairs to the vehicle. The other issue is the service received from a few of the staff members, another story all together. Already have 2 cheaper quotes for my vehicle with identical cover.
