I requested car registration duplicates on 3rd Dec 2013. They respond by sms on the 11th Dec that I have an admin mark. I cleared that and I sent an email on the 27th confirming everything has been cleared. I call back and they say I still have admin mark I need to send proof (07th of Jan). I send proof on the 9th and no response. After countless calls including waiting for 15 minutes for an agent while she inquired, a visit to the bank and an insulting email from one agent: TODAY I'm TOLD there are no updates on my profile since the 11th December sms. So I'm running circles because no one has bothered to update my profile and when I call in they are reading the 11 December sms. I'm so disgusted with the service. It looks like I will never get my car ownership documents because of their carelessness. I'm on the verge of buying a home that will probably net ABSA about R3.5m over 20 years. I have financed both my cars with them. After this I cant be bothered to do any of my personal business with ABSA. I'm even going to cancel my accounts with them. Appalling service.
