STANDARD BANK DIVISION - VERY DISAPPOINTING!

I contacted Standard Bank on 8 january to freeze my cheque account as my card had been compromised. There were two transactions totalling R3800.00. I was advised that the ordinary turnaround time would be 10 days. I did expect to receive some sort of feedback during these 10 days as to the status of the case. I heard nothing back. I called them on day 6 and 7 and consistently heard that my case was being 'escalated'. No further information. On another call they couldnt even find my claim. On day 8, i was sent an affidavit to complete confirming the transaction. I completed this and returned it to sender on 16 January. i was then advised that day 10 of the investigation would be Monday 21 January and that the matter would be finalised on this date and have the money refunded ot my account. Ofcourse i heard nothing back on monday or Tuesday. I called this morning (Wed 22 January) and was now advised that the investigation takes 10 days FROM the date of receipt of my affidavit. This is completely unacceptable. Each time i call, i have been told different stories. "Your case has been escalated" means NOTHING!!! I am extremely dsappointed in Standard!!
