Account debited even after contract cancelled

I took a maintenance plan policy with motorite contracted by wesbank on 2012/02/14, with a premium rate of R325.40 (Interest included), I decided to cancel the contract on 2013/09/19 with motorite (they glady cancelled it & communicated with wesbank regarding the change). I called wesbank to inform them & confirm if my instruction were executed, to my surprise I was taken from pillar to post numerous times since 2013/09/27.

I called in 2014/01/20 as my account was debited December 2013, only to be told that the reason for that is because my account is in arrears of "R6428.8" due to interest charged.(NB: I have never skipped any debit order)

The total premiums that i have paid so far from 2012/02/25 until 2013/12/25 is "R7809.6".
Monthly premium is 325.40 inclusive of interest (R89.28p/m).
I have only made two claims which amounts to R3728.
