Horrible service-2 months to fulfill a claim

I am beginning to wonder if Alexander Forbes believes I work for their claims department and contracted with their suppliers to ensure they deliver my goods. I submitted a claim in the beginning of November after I had expereinced a burglary. It took over a month for the claim to be approved and certain items to be replaced. to date, not all items have been replaced. if it was not for my wife's time to keep on following up with them, i am sure that not even those stuff would have been delivered as yet. My door still doesnt lock properly.
it also appears as your claims department is closed on the 31st December as they were closed and could not help me.it is now the 16th January and yet i find my claim still not 100% fulfilled. i also have to explain to my 6yr old daughter why they wont replace her Ipad as we are told to keep a box. who keeps boxes in this day and age. even at her age she is atught not to clutter, yet my insurance expects it from me. i was never told i should keep it in the case of burglary. wonder why the other stuff was paid out without their slips???
this is my first burglary and yet the feeling of secuirty Alexnader forbes has provided me is certainly dismal.
