My motor vehicle is insured with Quiksure, when I took the insurance I was told that access fee is R3000 thats's what the agent told me. Late November 2013 I was involved in car accident and I made a claim, to my surprise and shock access fee is 22 000 and some change. I was charged on 10% claim fee, 10% of SVI claim fee, 10% of license being less than 2 years and 10% of age. That whole amounts equals to more than 22 000.

I requested for tape recordings when I took the insurance, because all this 10% I was not told and informed about. As always they first played hide and seek in providing me with the tapes. I submited the tapes to my lawyers, in my conversation with the agent he did not mention all these extra additional charges. I reverted back to them they are still insisting I pay 22 000. This fee first of all is ridiculous, whats the point of having an insurance if you required to pay such an amount.
Am taking them to court, they can deal with my lawyers. If you come across this please do not even think twice of insuring with this service provider. They are!!
