I have engaged with the named individual when I first moved to prestige banking. there a few encounters where problems occurred with incorrect information etc, I however let it pass by. I requested an appointment on 10 Jan at 2pm and the person was extremely late, I had to leave without service due to other appointments that needed attention. I emailed requesting feedback on a Contract Save account to which she requestes me to now come in to the bank to have my funds transferred to my cheque account as the contract save expired on the 28 December 2013.I dont understand this as I set the account up such that when it expires the money be transferred into my cheque account. Secondly I sent an email in December requesting feedback on the status of my account and never received a response. A debit order of my monthly payment did go out in Jan. How is this possible if the account expired in Dec 2013.I pay a fee to have a prestige account yet I never receive the service. Why should I now go into the bank because people cannot do their work. This is ridiculuos and sad to say, not the first bad experience I have with Standard Bank. The track record of complaints on Hellopeter is proof enough.
