I received an alert from TransUnion that someone is checking on my personal credit information.on investigation it was found that it was miway insurance. I had or have made no application for instance.from what I understand that no one or any service provider is allowed to check peopled credit record without permission. I called miway and spoke to someone and I was told that I made an application in 2012 and I did not accept the qoute and they re put it back in the system. I asked why did they do a credit check on me without my permission, the guy told me he's not sure and he put me through to one of the agents. When I spoke to the agent, the lady was abrupt and cancelled the telephone call.
I must say with this experience Miway insurance do not conduct their business in a mature and professional way.
