DISAPPOINTED IN TURNAROUND TIME!!!

Last week Tuesday (29.01.2013) I called FNB's home loans department to get a pre approval amount to give me an idea of how much I qualify for which was already such a hassle because they keep putting you through to different people. When I eventually got a hold of the right department I was advised that my income and expenditure details would be taken down as well as my contact details and I would automatically receive a sms with the amount I qualify for within 24hrs so on Wednesday when I received nothing I phoned again to make sure what exactly the time frame for this sms was and it was advised that its 24-48hrs so I thought okay maybe I'm rushing it I'll give it time till Thursday (31.01.2013) but up until today 04.02.2013 I haven't received this sms and now my plans are stagnant because I don't have an idea of how much I can put on my offer to purchase. Highly disappointed!!
