I recently opened a business account with FNB. After going through the usual protocol and speaking to various representatives of FNB, I was assured that everything is in place and I am ready to use the account.

Upon waiting for payments from clients, amounting to several tens of thousands, I was getting agitated because my clients were not paying. One of my clients then inquired about the banking details, as they were getting error messages.

Upon investigation, the message returned the my clients was "ACCOUNT FROZEN". As a consumer, I would think twice about a supplier who's accounts were frozen.

There are many incompetent people in this world, it just angers me when people sell themselves as being professional. Maybe my standards are too high and I just shouldn't expect FNB to rise to excellence.
