I requested a settlement letter from RCS (Game) through the call centre to close my account. I received the letter and amount and payment was made within 5 working day period as stipulated on the settlement letter.
After the period granted for EFT payments to reflect on the account I contacted the call centre again to request the account to be closed and closing letter to be posted. To my surprise there was an amount due on the account for interest incurred. A lady from the accounts department checked my account on their system and stated the settlement letter was requested and payment made within granted period. She then said to me the account will be sent to another department for the amount to be credited, account to be closed and closing letter to be posted to me. All this happened around the end of October 2013 and first 2 weeks of November 2013. Today 2014/01/07 I received an sms stating that my account is in arrears and that the payment was due on the 1st of the month. I went to Game store N1 for assistance but the RCS credit lady, Nadia, was not at her desk and the staff called for her numerous times for over 25 minutes and did not pitch. My query is still not settled
