R400 promotion - a total

In October I called Outsurance for vehicle insurance. The quote they gave me was unable to beat the insurance i have at First for Women. Couldn't even come close to it. So they guy said he's sorry he couldn't help me and hung up before I could reply. After this I heard about the R400 promotion so I called them explaining that I had done the quote and they were unable to beat it. After I had to retake a quote they told me I had already received the promotion, which i had not seeing the guy just hung up.

So, I spoke to some manager and they sent me the email where I had to upload my details. I did that on 29 October saying that I will receive communication in 30 days. Its 7 January. I have received NO communication and NO payout. I have tried contacting them several times but I have heard nothing to date. The website also states that i may no longer enter details on the promotion thing as if I received the cash?

The same is currently happening to a friend of mine. He applied in November and has also not heard anything from Outsurance after several attempts to hear what has to be done.

This is pathetic and down right false advertising!
