Outsurance
We'll beat any quote or give you R400 bucks NOT!

I contacted Outsurance for a quote after having heard their add on the radio stating that they will beat any insurance quote or pay me R400.

I did the whole quote, wasted 15 minutes of my time and guess what. The Outsurance quote was almost 3 times more than my current insurance. Completely ridiculous!!

I then said i would like my R400. So apparently they would send me a link where i can upload my current insurance details and then they would pay me. Subsequently Outsurance contacted me to ask why i'm not buying the vehicle anymore. So in other word the consultant did not capture the fact that they were too expensive. They manipulated the quote to try and get out of their obligation to pay me the promised R400

I guess i will never see my R400, which I don't really care about.

What bugs me is the fact that they and are unethical in the way they do business. I will never support Outsurance and will advise others not to support them either.
