Why didn't you see the missed call

Last week I went into my Nedbank Branch to top up my personal. I went in spoke to Mpumi, everything was signed and I was informed by her that Nedbank would contact me shortly with the outcome. The following day she called me to inform me that she didn't make a copy of my utility bill and I had to go back. Today I phoned Nedbank myself to find out what is taking so long only to find out that Mpumi captured my banking details incorrectly. After numerous phone calls to her and the branch manager of Saveways I eventually got hold of Mpumi and I was asked by her why I didn't see the missed call on my phone and returned her call. Firstly I did not know this is how you conduct business, secondly I did not know that I had to return every unknown phone call. Wasn't she suppose to have left me a message? Now i get told after her error that I have to go into the branch again to sign documents to correct the account number? Why do I have to do this if I HAD to PAY for bank statements with my CORRECT account details on and she captured it incorrectly? Pathetic and incompetent!!
