Claim taking forever to be processed

I submitted a claim to Discovery in August 2013. To this day the claim is still being processed. Ive been completing and submitting all the docs. I was even requested to submit medical certificate from GP whos seen me before Feb2012?
This I couldnt do and I did advise them. All I need is to know whether its approved or declined and the reason thereoff.
