Promises Made but Never Kept

We were with another bank, & we started applying for home loans, and we were told by a Standard Bank employee at the Greenstone Mall branch, that if we moved our accounts to Standard Bank they would drop our interest rate on the homeloan by 2 % after 3 months. When we signed the homeloan with them, another employee at the Wood-ridge branch told us the same thing, in fact Grace (the Standard Bank employee from Wood-ridge branch) & her branch manager, assured us this drop in interest rate would happen, on more that one occasion. And now 6 months after we moved our accounts to Standard Bank we have been told that this is not possible by yet another Standard Bank employee & that no-one would promise this - but 3 different employees have promised us this. We have also been trying to contact our Prestige Banker (Claudia) for months about this and other matters, and we have never been able to get a hold of her. How can you be expected to entrust your hard earned money to a bank that do not keep their promises?!?
