Contacted Old Mutual early 2011 regarding policy 4779216-RL following the death of my husband, Mr RL Lawson 5301075102084. All the necessary forms were submitted. No further response from Old Mutual. I phoned the call centre 31/10/2013 that said there has been a dispute since 2005-previous policy owner said it was given over with out his consent. Old Mutual said that they will get back in 5 days, and there legal team was notified, Phoned on 26/11/2013 as I had heard nothing. Call centre lady said she will resubmit to processing department. Still no response, phoned 4/12/2013 said that they will escalate and ask for feed back a.s.a.p still nothing has occurred. This needs to be resolved at the late estate cannot be closed due to this. My late husbands estate has not been closed 3.5 years later due to Old Mutual's lack of resulution, and this is taking emotional and financial strain on me.
