I ordered an apple smart device on 9th December. I was told that I must upgrade my account to a platinum cheque account to facilitate this. I did. I then had to go get a new set of cards from Ballito branch while on holiday. I did. Almost a month later I have not even been contacted by FNB regarding the order which should take2 weeks. I called on the 22nd of December to find out what's happening as the I-pad was a Christmas gift. They said my enquiry would be escalated... NOTHING.. I now write this at 11:33 after being on the phone since 9:15 this morning being passed around by incompetent call center staff. To make things easier I opted to change the order to a device that is in stock... Again huge confusion... Telephone banking say I must phone online banking as they don't have it in stock but online do... WHAT??? I'm dealing with FNB as a bank not individual departments.. It's advertised as in stock on the website, they messed up my last order they should rectify it.
Now I sit with this "fancy platinum account" which I only got to facilitate the device order and no device and almost 3hours of being on hold and treated like an by the call center.. REDICULOUS
