Consultants not willing to help

Hi my parents got divorced, my dad needs to put the house bond in his name. He went to greenstone to transfer name of bond and to apply for outstanding amount on bond. He did everything on the phone, consultant went and applied for R450 000 bond instead of outstanding amount of R80000. We then went to fourways, the consultant what helped us didnt say anything was wrong. he took all the forms from my dad. Divorce papers and letter from my mom. now when i call homeloans. they tell me the application was incorrect we must go and recapture this. I cant believe the service we get from standard bank. Please assist us.
