1-i have been having numerous incidents with standard bank! & it is rather frustrating that you as a loyal client, trying to keep your money safe in a bank where it is taken due to .i have had 2 transactions on my cheque account within 3months till this very day i still do not know how the transactions took place.2- i now also have to deal with V&A finance, where a settlement amount was requested. they issued me with a settlement letter, i make payment and was told to call after 3business days. i then call after the 3business days and get told to please wait until the 4th day.i call on the 4th day only to find that deposited amount was not allocated to the correct account as the teller at the bank punched an incorrect digit on the reference number. i then need to fax proof of payment to the number they provided me with.when asked for an e-mail address the agent told me they only have fax to email.but the number she gave me doesnt work i call again and get an email.only to find it takes 21days to resolve this query. whos problem is this? bear in mind my settlement amount is valid for 5days! il have to pay another instalment n claim that back! so il have to deal again!
