Disappointing service

I recently joined standard bank and I am totally disappointed with the service I am receiving from them, I have been with my previous bank for the past 10 years and not once did I receive this level of service. I only joined standard bank because of my home loan and would reconsider switching banks.
On the 10th of December at the Balfour park shopping center Gauteng I went to draw out R5000 from the atm, the machine went offline and my card was swallowed and no cash was returned. When we asked the security and the ladies working at the bank they advised that the transaction would not have went through. I then went to the Greenstone branch where I was given a temporary card and I was advised by the enquiries department that the transaction went through & I was sent to see a consultant, the consultant said no transaction went through. On the 11th I checked my balance and R5000 was gone, I immediately reported it to the division. I had to make 4 calls to the division and I was told I must wait 10days for my own money. Then after a week 11/12/2013 I was told I must fill in an affidavit. I called again on the 12/12/2013 & now I must complete an atm claim form. Terrible service.
