With the purchase of my vehicle in December 2009 I was offered, with the comprehensive insurance, a Regent Paint Tech Body warranty and was led to understand that this will cover any small damage to the paintwork. Unfortunately during moving shortly thereafter the policy document was mislaid and it was only recently discovered when I wanted to claim for damage sustained. In the end I had to lodge a complaint on Hello Peter to get Regent to provide me with a copy at which stage I realised that the policy is only for a four year period, i.e. expires shortly. I have logged a claim which was handled by Busi who e-mailed me a claim form and instruction to get a quote from Renew-it in Edenvale (No other option). Upon receiving the quote 4 days later it was noticed that they quoted for parts (new clips) and strip & replace of the rear bumper to fix the scratch on the bumper. The policy does, however, not cover any work which requires stripping. When Busi was phoned to ask "What now" she promised to send me, within 15 minutes, the names of alternative repairers. This promise was made during a phone call on 18 December at 13:28 - 17 hours later I have had absolutely no response from Regent.
