"Late" Debit orde

On Friday 14 December 2013, a debit order of R220.00 and R700.00 went off my account. When I called standard bank to enquire about this I was told that these 2 amounts are for purchases that I made on the 14 November 2013 that didn't go through my account. Its funny that they were able to pick this up a month later secondly I was not informed about this they just decided to deduct these amount lastly I don't remember these purchases at all. These transactions do not even show on my bank statement.
