I've requested my NSFAS account settlement amount over the telephone and the lady operator quoted R16367. A month later, on 20 November 2013 I settled the account. However, NSFAS continued debiting my account at the end of that month. I enquired from their call centre and I was told there is a system fault and I should send them proof of payment which I did. Each time I call I get a different operator, who request proof of payment but at the end of the day fail to update my account and stop debits. I've sent proof of payment 3 times now. The office provides no commitment to solve my problem, no follow up, there is no service at all.
