Discovery emp staff that commits, ID

During December 2011 and January 2012 a Mrs Heidi Donaldson a former employee at ABSA Cresta as a broker committed a few instances of and identity. This was reported to ABSA and in turn to the SAP which has subsequently led to criminal cases being opened and Heidi Donaldson being formally charged.
Mrs Donaldson left the employ of Absa and has since started employment with Discovery whilst still having pending cases for amongst others against her. As she is working in the financial sector one would assume that this should never have been allowed because whilst having criminal cases pending (for) against an individual, another financial institution should surely not employ such a candidate and allow this employee to conduct business of a financial nature with their clients.
Yet Discovery has taken Mrs Donaldson into their employ and is allowing her to conduct business with their clients being either existing or new.
One would assume that a comp. like Discovery would carefully vet their employees either before employing and even during their employment as to ensure that their conduct would be professional to deal with their clients finacial affairs. DISTURBING
