Wrong information on my credit report

On my credit report i saw that i have an active account with Real People so i called them in October trying to figure out its for what and they told me no they will correct the information and i've been calling and what i hear from them its no we will remove it until todate. Its hampering with my credit record. If they can just remove that account from my name.
