Discovery Insure
Claim 139749 dragging on!

We have a claim with Discovery Insure regarding our VW Tiguan which as per their assessors reports was written off. This claim has been dragging on since 30th October and Discovery Insure is supposed to settle the vehicle because we had a credit shortfall policy on our policy. I can hardly ever get hold of anyone who is dealing with this claim, they take days to respond to my e-mails, and when they do they keep passing the buck from one person to another. I fully understand that it is a large amount that has be paid from Discovery's side but I need someone to tell me when this claim will be finalised! I received an e-mail yesterday from Viresh who is in charge of the claims department telling me that the claim has been handed over to the head of claims, but I have heard nothing since despite him saying that he would have feed back for me yesterday afternoon. A payment for the vehicle came off our account at the end of November, despite promises that it would be settled before that happened and we obviously need a refund! We have since bought a new vehicle, and we cannot afford to pay for two vehicles at the end of this month. Could someone please tell me when payment will be made!
