Applied for my FNB Cheque and Credit Cards on 12th Jan. Cheque card was quick, but credit card is still pending.

Sent documentation on 14th, 17th, 25th and 29th Jan, because every time I phone the call center says my details haven't been captured and I need to resend everything. Each time "escalating" the request.

Phoned the complaints department on the 30th, promising a result by midday 31 Jan and "escalating" my request. No response.

Tweeted FNB Guy late on 30th who responded quickly, saying I would also get a response on the 31st Jan. Once again promising that request would be "escalated". No response.

One would imagine with all this "escalation" I would've at least received an apology phone call by now. Wishful thinking.

FNB may have been voted most innovative company, but they need to start innovating in their customer service.
