Upgrade to Prestige was a time-wasting nightmare

I applied for an upgrade from a Gold cheque account to a Prestige through the Prestige call centre where I submitted all my documentations to. The call centre agent assured me that the upgrade would be done for all my cards (cheque, credit and a secondary cheque card on my wife's name), but when I went to pick up the new cards, only the credit card was done. It was found out that the application was not done completetly hence another request was sent to upgrade the two remaining cards. I spent over 1.5 hours on that day.

Then a week later, I went to the branch again to pick up the remaining cards but only to find out that the secondary cheque card on my wife's name was still not available. Another request was launched to follow up on the application, and the branch manager said someone will get in touch with me, but no one did.

Then today, I called the call centre again to follow up and I was told that they woyuld speed up this process so that my wife will get her card soon. Reference number is 7000528910. I REALLY hope that Standard Bank gets it right this time as I am a loyal client and I am losing my patience on this - how can a simple upgrade be done so inconsistently?
