FNB Insurance, wow, that is really poo

As an existing FNB customer I saw that FNB isoffering eBucks rewards on their insurance products. So I decided to call FNB and get a quote. It is incredible that I had to go though a HOUR call, to find out that the insurance is outrageously expensive. Almost R600 more than what my current insurance for exactly the same. In order to get a compartive quote I have to sit in an hour long phone call? Honestly, it's unacceptable. Especially for a quote that is not at all competitive. FNB also doesn't offer specific item insurance in order to insurance two electronic devices (laptop & cellphone) I would be forced to takeout home contents insurance. Why? And the vehicle insurance was also particularly over priced. The best thing was that just before the call agent could give me the quote, the line got cut off. She did not call me back. When I phoned, I was told I would have to go through the same hour long risk analysis. When I refused to waste my time like that, they had to transfer me to the agent who assisted me earlier. This has never been the case in any other insurance quote call, and an added delay. Utimately, it took over an hour to find out the quote is overpriced. :(
