RIPPING OF WOMEN!

I got a letter today from my insurance provider, FIRST FOR WOMAN. They notified me that my insurance premium will go up with 10 %, with which I am more than happy with. I know that everything is getting more and more expensive, including the cost of all insurances.

However what I was FURIOUS with, is my basic excess that has been changed from R3975.00 to R8520.00.

When I phoned the insurance, the lady I spoke to told me "it is based on the claims that they have been receiving lately" I have never claimed any insurance in my life. And I should not be punished for other peoples claims. 10% percent I am happy with. But not more than a 100% increase in my basic excess fees.

I immediately contacted Dial Direct and they gave me a quote of R490 per month for my little car, and a basic excess of R3200. Plus a cash back bonus standard with the package, where as with FFS it was an "extra option"

I will not recomend ANYBODY to deal with FFM ever again in my life. They valse advertise, and colour a pretty picture. But they want to you over in the long run.

I will be moving my policy. So will my mom, my sister, and her two daugters.
