Just deduct money when they want

My agreed repayment date (as per my contract) for my African bank accounts is the 1st day of the month.
Now suddenly you get an sms from them saying that due to salary pay date changes in December, that they will be deducting on the 13th of December. I know of no salary pay date changes with my employer. Rather arrogant of African bank don't you think. I suppose that my credit rating will also be affected by these I D I O T S because they deduct contrary to the agreement and contract.
