FNBHomeloans keeping our hard earned money from us

Business & Finance

I have been with FNB for over 20 years, and my husband over 5 years so we decided to buy our first house through FNB Homeloans late last year, seeing that we are seen as 'valued customers'.Our first bond repayment was scheduled for 1 January 2013, but we were not sure if this would go of via debit order so we manually paid it in on 31 December. On 1 January, the debit order for the bond went off so that put us back in terms of our financial situation (considering this is our first bond, and everyone knows the first couple of months are very hard). After numerous fights and phone calls, we were transferred from the one agent to the other, every single one having a different story in terms of the process in terms of crediting us the additional funds. It is now 31 January and still have not yet seen our money. What is the use of a flexi bond if a customer requires access to additional funds transferred, but is told that they cannot do a reverse? This is putting us R11 750.98 into financial trouble and this is our first house and this happened with our first bond repayment? I would like a senior manager from the home loan department to contact me to please enlighten me on the process
