UPON BEING INFORMED THAT MY SALARY WILL ONLY SHOW IN MY ACCOUNT FROM MY EMPLOYER ON THE 3RD DUE TO TECHNICAL ERRORS (TODAY ONLY BEING THE 29TH), I IMMEDIATELY CALLED OUTSURANCE TO INFORM THEM OF THIS AND THAT I NEED THE DEBIT ORDER TO BE MOVED BACK BY ONE DAY.
OUTSURANCE CALL CENTRE EMPLOYEE (08600 70 000) THEN CALLED A MANAGER TO ASSIST ME.
SHE ADVISED ME THAT THE DEBIT ORDER COULD NOT BE MOVED AND WOULD HAVE TO JUST "ACCEPT THE DEBIT ORDER REVERSAL FEES THAT MY BANK WILL BE CHARGING ME AND THAT WAS WHERE THEY STOOD. I THEN INSISTED THAT THIS WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS I WAS INDEED INFORMING THEM 5 DAYS BEFORE DEBIT ORDER DATE- NOT ONLY DUE TO THE BANK CHARGES THAT I WOULD HAVE TO CARRY BUT ALSO DUE TO MY CREDIT RATING FROM A DEBIT ORDER RETURN - HER RESPONSE TO ME WAS "YOU ARE NOT "SPECIAL! " WELL, THAT WASNT HOW I FELT WHEN I SIGNED UP AS A CLIENT AND YOU MADE ME FEEL "SPECIAL" - BOY! DO I NOW KNOW EXACTLY WHERE I STAND - BAD BAD ATTITUDE! MAYBE I WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE10 OR 11 VEHICLES, HOUSE INSURANCE ETC POLICIES AND LOOK ELSEWHERE AND FIND A PLACE WHERE I "AM INDEED SPECIAL"
