I had shocking moment of life to realised that Outsurance failed to inform me that they did not collect any premiums for my car and house contents from 01 August until 18 September 2013. Only on 19 September 2013 I get two sms's and two emails to inform me that if I do not pay on the same day, my policy will be cancelled. What was strange about my conversation on 19/09/2013 is that Outsurance already confirmed that I already had no cover, meaning that should something have happened between 01 August and 19 September 2013 I could have heard, "Sorry, your have no cover with us". How such an insurance company can be negligent of failing to warn the customer that debit order was returned? I still did not get the answer from Outsurance why I was not notified in August and the reason given by the bank for the returned debit order? I ran to the bank to check if maybe I have been robbed off my money as I knew that the account used always had money for debit orders. I found all to be in order with the bank. Another strange part is that Outsurance managed to put through prorata insurance payment for July 2013 from the same bank account. I have really got "SOMETHING OUT" from OUTsuranc
