Short sighted, inconsistent service to clients

I took an IPAD through FNB a while back - they approved it despite a "negative listing" on ITC at the time. I have paid the device off without a problem. Despite the listing FNB granted me over R20 000 in personal loans (as recently as tw0 months ago)- settled them early. Now I apply for another smart device, and am DECLINED due to my credit rating...? No notification or communication - I had to keep phoning to find this out.
Like most other banks FNB cannot think outside their "system" - if the "system" says no then its declined, no questions asked, no consideration taken. Just strange how the system seems to differ from product to product. Clients are just another number to them...
I'm not expecting anything to come from this post - in fact I'm really not interested in pursuing this any further - just want to save other people the frustration and effort of going through the same experience
