STILL WAITING FOR ACCOUNT CANCELLATION

I have recently traded in my old car - which had top up and paint tech cover through Regent. I contacted Regent on the 13th November to inform them that the car has been settled and I will no longer require the insurance policies. I was eventually contacted by someone in their 'VAPS' department, after forwarding a letter of settlement and banking details I received a phone call to confirm that I wanted the policy cancelled, and that's where things have stagnated. I contacted the call-centre yesterday to find out if the policies had been cancelled, and surprise surpise, 2 weeks after my initial email, and I'm still on their books. I asked the call centre employee I dealt with to please have an administrator contact me so things can be finalised - I am yet to receive that call 24 hours later. I emailed the policy administrator I was dealing with, Leandre De Wet, as well as the vapsadmininbox yesterday for a follow-up, and nothing still. I am fuming as this matter has taken 2 weeks to resolve. There is seemingly no urgency to get this sorted. I have never claimed through Regent, nor missed a monthly payment. I will not be charged for a service I am no longer using! SORT THIS OUT!
