I don't even know where to start. But "how can we help you? " is definitely NOT what I have been getting from FNB. Earlier this year I had an incident where a staff member who could not take no for an answer on a Saturday morning when he called me to try sell me a savings account, took down my personal details, took them home & later called me to swear at me. When I lodged a complaint, they dimsissed him. We are travelling to the USA in a month, have so far booked everything with our credit cards but now every time we try pay for something all the cards are "blocked" & no-one can tell me why? I got some lame excuse 2 days ago about it being that particular merchant that is blocked by Visa in SA but we have just tried to pay for something else &... same thing! Won't go through! They are embarassing us - I am sure all the American people we are dealing with think we just don't have enough money in our account. We lost out on tickets with the 1st issue & we're about to lose out on our New Year's eve dinner booking because of this issue as well! I get told to "calm down" by the Private Banker when he knows that I have been going through DAYS of issues & delayed bad service! AWFUL!
