Outrageous chargers for printing statements

My Husband recently needed 3 years bank statement info for both his personal and business accounts from both FNB and Standard Bank issued to him. FNB obliged within 24hrs with info free of charge-no hassel. Standard Bank on the other hand are wanting to charge us over R11 000.00 / R31 per page to email it to us!!! This is insane amount of money, to have access to our own info, surely this is not legal?
