I registered a claim for my gate motor and the service provider appointed was Waybridge. The appointed service provider sub-contracted a company called Wesbrook. The appointed company told me that they cannot start the job until I pay excess upfront, and I paid them the R750 excess. They then replaced my gate motor and left and left without completing the job.

The intercom was not done as he (the repairer - Keth from Wesbrook) seemed to have no idea of the wiring and connection. He tried several things with no success and eventually left saying he will come back to sort out the wiring. I phoned Keith several times and I was told he was sick. He came out of hospital and promised to come but did not. I called, Waybridge, and SBIB. I spoke to Florence; and Jenny reporting the incomplete work done by Wesbrook. To my surprise the company was paid out without a clearance number, which was a violation of agreed contract. This is corruption at its best. my garage/ intercom is not done.
