I have had appliance insurance with Innovation Maxicare for over 10 years. I have added items to my schedule and it was repaired and some replaced. Recently (2-3 months ago), I added a stove and a microwave. When I wanted to claim for the Microwave, I was told that I was supposed to provide them with the manufacturers name on both the items. For that reason they could not repair the microwave as it was never added. Nobody have told me that if I don't do it I would not be covered. I have added items before without specifing the make, and it was repaired. This was all new to me now. If they changed the rules in the meantime I would like to see the communication they were supposed to send me. After I have spoken to Grandleigh, I phoned back just to check if they actually know what the make of all the other items are, of which I am allready covered. They could not tell me, because they don't have any manufactures name on any of the items on my schedule. Their argument does not carry merit anymore. I hardly receive any communication from them, either by post or email. Can this be sorted out please?
