I have been a very loyal ABSA Client since 1995 until now. I have changed jobs and had to relocate, subsequently my cashflow was affected. As a result I could not pay my last month credit card payment of R 146.00. Today ABSA Blocked my accounts despite the fact that I have R 1600.00 available in my cheque and credit card accounts until I pay the R 146.00.

I must add that earlier today I spoke to a ABSA Credit Card Consultant and made arrangements to pay the outstanding amount at the end of the month. Despite the arrangement ABSA continued to block my accounts. It is very clear that ABSA does not want my business any longer nor the thousands of people I work with.

I will do everything in my power to convince everyone that I deal with to move their accounts to a bank that cares about their customers... FNB for example.
