I applied for a credit limit increase and a rate review about 3 weeks ago. This was after great difficulty. I was being bounced around from branch to telephone to website and back. So a friend who works for FNB helped by taking my application down at the branch. He scanned in every necessary document so that I did not have to submit them. And after that it has been downhill and reminds me of the ABSA days.

I've gotten random messages that my application has been rejected, etc. but there is no simple correspondence that says why or why not. I have been called by your escalations people but it seems they are powerless. Despite all the documents being with FNB, all my details up to date, I keep getting called for things like "can you please send us your work permit" when in fact I have a permanent residence certificate ALREADY captured by your system. Please tell me how this nonsense is even possible?

Today I got another message after several complains to RB Jacobs. Again cryptic and not saying why. When I call the number provided I am put through to several different useless departments.

You guys have utterly failed. How FNB can royally f*^& up after so many chances is beyond me
