I have been a loyal customer of ABSA for 22 years, the fees are high which is a shock in itself, but one would be okay to pay such high fees providing that the service offered was good, but unfortunately this is shocking. They treat their customers as if they are doing us a favour.

Due to an incident with Credit card last December I threatened to move my accounts elsewhere, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I now have had enough, lack of communication from their part and when they do communicate with you they give you the wrong information which results in frustration on the customers side and errors occur.

I have now opened up accounts at FNB and will shortly be moving the remainder of my accounts as well as my husbands and kids accounts to FNB. Just another customer lost... what does ABSA care.
