I put through a claim for windscreen damage. i was told that the claim would be sorted out in a few days.

A month later, after a number of calls from me complaining, their service provider 24/6 eventually replaced my windscreen. This was a Friday late afternoon.

I only drove the car in daylight on Saturday morning and noticed that they had used the incorrect windscreen - there was no shade bands and tint.

I complained on the Saturday and have called almost every working day for 1 and half weeks complaining about this issue and it still has not been sorted out. i have tried to escalate the matter but cannot find any escaltation process. I have asked to speak to the manager in charge but without success. I have been made various promises by both people from Absa Miway and their service provider 24/6. Eight working days later, still nobody has even come to inspect the windscreen. so far it has only been polite but empty promises being made by both of these parties.

There are no customer service numbers and escalation procedures on the Absa Miway website. I think you can take this as a solid indication that when things go wrong they are unwilling or incapable of solving the matte
