I called FNB a few weeks ago about something small, it was easily resolved. While on the call, the agent offered to upgrade my account. I accepted, everything was very easy and smooth up until this point. About a week later my new card was delivered, after changing the pin, the card bombed out, I called FNB, problem sorted, at least according to them. I could then draw cash from an ATM, but not swipe. I called back after the weekend, issue resolved, tried to use my card at lunch time then, pin rejected, card blocked. In the meantime, FNB took it on themselves to cancel and stop my old card, even though it was working perfectly, and I didn't ask for it be cancelled, oh and all this with no warning. So I called FNB again, the agent couldn't help, the only solution, a new card. It's now Tuesday, this card was supposed to be delivered on Friday according to courier call I received on Thursday. I don't even know what to say to FNB anymore. Issues upon issues upon issues. Sadly, the other SA banks don't offer half the awesome that FNB does? To the other banks out there, get your stuff together, get products on par, I'm sure there are tons of FNB customers wishing for a better option.
