NO FINALISATION OF WILL FOR CLOSE TO 3 YEARS

I am from a small town and must say that I found service at most businesses in George very efficient.

Jan Harms Steenkamp is the executor of my father's will. (Our dad passed away on 15 February 2011). It is a straight forward Will and in my town will take five to eight months maximum to complete.

An executor is supposed to give feedback at least once a month. He must see to it that the best interest rates be negotiated of all funds, must assure that medical funds, etc. of the surviving member be sorted out and in general see to things like the timeous carrying over of funds, shares etc.

After two and a half years we are still waiting for some of this to happen. All communication is from our side and although he admits that we can be angry, he doesn't do a thing about it and no communication from his side takes place. I want to caution everybody who are interested in investing money or are looking out for an executor to please assure that you do your homework before signing with any so-called professionals.
