Waste of money&bad service

My father passed on in August 2013... we have been trying to get information regarding his policies. I have spoken to different consultants who never get back to me with concrete information. The sad part is their policies don't amount to anything when they supposed to pay out. The one policy was taken out in 1987 when I was born and was paid up in 1998 but its only valued to R10 000.00 which will have tax and interest taken off. Their products are not worth it nevermind the unproffesional service given by their consultants.

I'm appauled; I would have taken one of their products for my new born son but it won't be worth the value in ten years time or should I be deceased.
